COURSE COMPONENTS:
The TDI Sidemount course is perfect for divers who want to become more skilled and proficient with different equipment configurations. You will learn how to safely use Sidemount primary cylinders as an alternative to the traditional back mounted method. This is a great course by itself, but it can also be taught in conjunction with other TDI open circuit specialties.
During the course, students will learn specific techniques required for Sidemount cylinders, as well as the specific procedures and skills necessary for the Sidemount set up including equipment considerations, gas management, attaching Sidemount cylinders, trim and buoyancy, finning techniques, deployment of a surface marker and the different water entries.
It is recommended that students finish the elearning study before starting the course. We are happy to send you codes for elearning access in advance, after you purchase the TDI Sidemount Diver course.
